Apam Balik also knows as 'Apom Balik', is one of Malay Nusantara traditional cakes. In chinese people name it as 'ban jing kueh'。 It is a thick cake coated with butter layer and contains peanuts and sweet corn that folded into two.
'Apam Balik' 亦被称为 'Apom Balik',是一种印度尼西亚的传统美食。华人统称'ban jing kueh' 或是‘慢煎糕’。它是涂有牛油外层的糕,内含有花生及绞碎的玉米。
To be more detail, it starts with mixture of flour, soda water, baking powder, yeast. The 'apam balik' usually baked using a frying pan shown below where butter, sugar, peanuts and sweet corns are sprinkled in before removed from the pan.
基本上它是由面粉,苏打水,发粉和酵母组合而成。慢煎糕是在不粘键盘下,然后添牛油再撒上糖、花生及绞碎的玉米自制而成。

haha.. my family member prefer the crispy one as well..
but till now i still like more the original traditional one.. =)
I have not tried this delicious feast, but next time I am in Malaysia I shall.
hahah.. me here got one stall selling the traditional one VERY TASTY!! the aunty put a lot of peanut and corn until when u eat that time also will drop down~ ^^
